How Does IPTV Work?
Internet Protocal Television or “IPTV” is delivered through your high speed Internet connection as a digital TV signal. This signal can be decoded by our set top box that can easily connect to your TV much in the way you would hook up a VCR or DVD player. The end result produces a clear picture with great sound and enough channels to appeal to every member of your family.
You won’t need to connect a computer, the set top box works automatically with your high speed Internet connection. Now you can relax on the couch and enjoy Russian programs with a crystal clear picture and great sound.
What can I expect once I place an order?
The set top box can will be shipped directly to you with a set of instructions on how to connect it to your TV and Internet service (Minimum 1.5MB connection required). What do I need to have for the set top box to work?
You will need high speed Internet access that operates at a speed of 1500bps (1.5MB) or greater. You will also need a TV set that can accept a coaxial, RCA or Composite Video connection.
Can I perform the installation myself or will someone have to do it for me?
The units are self installed but you can work with our staff over the phone to get your system set up if you have questions. An installer can do everything for you if we have someone in your area. If not, we would recomend a computer technician be called in from a reputable company.
How much will it cost to get the system in place?
The set top box can be purchased for $149.99, after which you own it and can take it with you anywhere in the world. (Even on trips as long as you have sufficient Internet speed). The installtion fee is not included in the purchase price but will only be required if someone has to come to your home to install the unit (Cost is usually $99 for install and configuraiton plus any additional time and materials you may require to get your home network set up correctly) The monthly fee is $29.99 plus box rental (in the event you decide to lease the box rather than buy it. Cost is an additonal $2.95 per month
